How it works in 5 steps

Here’s the typical flow for self-managed supports with Havenridge Care:

1
Confirm supports
We discuss goals, preferred times and the type of support you want funded through your plan.
2
Service agreement
Clear agreements in plain English — including cancellations, communication, and documentation.
3
Deliver supports
Supports begin with consistent workers and clear schedules.
4
Invoices & records
We provide compliant invoices and service notes so you can claim smoothly.
5
Claim in your system
You submit claims through your chosen method (e.g., myplace portal) within required timeframes.

Invoice requirements

  • Invoices include dates of service, support type, hours, rate, and total.
  • We include the details your accountant or plan tools typically need.
  • If you need invoices formatted for a specific platform, tell us and we’ll accommodate where practical.

Using the myplace portal

If you claim through the NDIS myplace portal, we can guide you on what documents you’ll need and what to check on invoices. We can’t access your portal, but we can help you understand the process.

Important: NDIS claims generally need to be submitted within required timeframes. A common rule people work with is a 2-year claim deadline — if you’re unsure, confirm with the NDIA or your plan manager for your specific circumstances.
